Interest Groups

Our self-help, self learning interest groups are the life-blood of our local u3a.

Sharpen your mind

Fancy playing bridge at a variety of levels or learning a foreign language? Perhaps you want to engage in a bit of music appreciation. There is a variety of choices listed below.

Keep yourself fit

Tennis and walking tennis, line dancing, table tennis, pétanque and walking. No couch potatoes here. Although in some groups, a satisfying pub lunch awaits if you are good.

Pamper yourself

Watching old TV comedies, visits to each other's gardens, wining and dining in local pubs and restaurants. There are numerous ways to engage socially.

Express your creativity

Sketching, painting, making music, photography, poetry and craft. Use your time to do all those things you wanted to but never had the time for when you were at work.
