Alex Leger will delight us with his tales of producing the BBC’s Blue Peter programme with John Noakes, Peter Purves and Lesley Judd. 

He describes encounters with an erupting volcano, gorillas in Uganda and a

life-threatening storm at sea and LuLu the baby elephant who ran amok and created arguably the funniest moment in Blue Peter history.
